F Kelleher Plant Hire Ltd is a family owned and run business established in 1992.
2017 sees us celebrating 25 successful years in business.
We have experience in major projects covering all disciplines of construction.
Our excavators range from 1 tonne up to 45 tonne. Our selection of attachments include munchers, breakers, rockwheels, piling hammers. We have the latest Volvo A30G Dumptrucks and a range of Hydrema Dumptrucks.
Our haulage division includes Beavertail Hiab trucks, Low Loaders, Tipper Trucks and Grab Wagons.
To keep with modern times and ever changing regulations on emissions we are continuously investing in the latest machinery. This guarantees absolute conformity, reliability and quality.
We have a highly skilled and experienced workforce. Safety and training are paramount to our staff and we believe in equality and diversity.

We are accredited with certifications including Link-Up and RISQS for rail projects. Our haulage fleet is FORS registered and we are members of the CPA.
We undertake groundworks, site preparation and enabling works.

Our operators are trained to a high standard and are fully committed to their obligations under duty of care and health & safety legislation.
Compliance with the latest legislation
F Kelleher Plant Hire is pro-active on compliance with legislation, codes of practice and the issue of safety bulletins. We have policies and processes in place allowing us to address compliance issues as they become known.
Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
All work is undertaken in accordance with guidance from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998
Our equipment is assured as 'fit for purpose' as a result of our rigorous schedule of plant maintenance. F Kelleher Plant Hire operators are trained to perform checks on their plant before commencement of their daily work. Any reported defects are dealt with quickly through direct communication between site and head office.
Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999
The Directors and management of F Kelleher Plant Hire understand their legal and moral obligation to create a safe working environment for employees contractor, ensuring we safeguard the lives of our workforce in dangerous environments. Regular risk assessments are undertaken on all operator roles and method statements are published and shared with our operators.
Conformance with Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998
We undertake our Record of Thorough Lifting Examination or Lifting Certificate is undertaken annually. The certificate is stored in the cab of the machine making it readily available for on-site inspection. Our operators are trained to perform a daily 'lift critical' check on their machine. Similarly a Quick Hitch check is undertaken on appropriate machine and the certificate for this is available in the cab of the machine.
